A family-run company since 1967
Euro-Fer is an Italian company specialised in the production of wrought iron for almost 50 years. It ranks among the leading companies in this sector form all over the world and it’s a top seller on the Italian market and several European markets.
Located in a productive and warehousing area of 25,000 square metres only in Castelgomberto (Vicenza), Euro-Fer creates over 10,000 articles for the realisation of any item in iron and stainless steel such as stairs, fencing, gates, balconies and railings. The elements manufactured are: hollow rods, forged, smooth-headed and hammered stakes, sophisticated panels, curls, rosettes, crowns, rims, ornamental elements for gates, handrails, foils, brass items, furnishings and custom-made elements upon request.
In the last few years Euro-Fer has developed several new product lines to go with the traditional ones and which now enable it to provide the most complete range of products in wrought iron and stainless steel. The new products are: the Gates, the Linear and Gradius products – galvanised fencing ready to be installed – the Rose Collection Rose Collection CRYSTALS FROM SWAROVSKI line, Décor furniture line, the “Powder Coated Products” and the new Italian forged products completely made in Italy.
Cutting-edge machinery and highly specialised staff ensure high product, design and Italian production quality.
Euro-Fer’s winning idea was to bring a typically handcrafted product, i.e. wrought iron products, to be industrially produced while preserving the precision and quality features typical of the handcrafted product.
The company has a capillary distribution network in Italy and in Europe. Euro-Fer is present in every country with its distributors that can guarantee quick delivery times both in Italy and abroad. Euro-Fer’s production is mostly done in Italy in order to ensure the high quality standards that have made the company so successful.
In addition to the thousand of articles in its catalogue and ready for delivery, Euro-Fer can also supply made-to-measure or customized articles in a short time.
Euro-Fer dedicates its work to those who can appreciate quality with sophisticated elegance, those who love the purity of lines of iron, those who want to realise products which can become more valuable in time. Euro-Fer’s work is the result of passion and competence of a company that has been a reference point in this sector for half a century.
From 1967 to today
Euro-Fer was established as a small artisan business at the beginning of the 1960s.
Forging wrought iron, working it, shaping it; these are the activities that man’s hand has performed remarkably since the dawn of time.
But while the curl, the hollow rod, the spears and the forged stakes have always been part of ironwork (to the point that the first relevant artefacts go back to the 12th and 13th centuries), the realization of the same artefacts on an industrial scale is modern.
Hence the idea of mass-producing wrought iron products in the Vicenza area.
Euro-Fer was amongst the forerunners of this activity and the first to go abroad to offer its products. At the beginning several hundreds of articles were manufactured, but now we are talking about thousands of different pieces to create railings, gates, balconies and stairways, both for indoors and outdoors.
The combinations are endless and can be harmonized with any architectural style.
In 2012, Euro-Fer celebrated forty-five years of activity as an industrial reality, although as an artisan workshop it existed since the beginning of the 1960s.
It’s thanks to the intuition of its founder, Tommaso Pretto, who managed to realise such an ambitious and unusual project that today Euro-Fer is among the world leaders in its sector, a top seller in Italy and several European countries.
Euro-Fer is committed to continuous investments ranging from the enhancement of existing technologies to the creation of new machinery, from project studies with renowned designers to the implementation of new structures to improve logistics once and for all: the automated warehouse, that represents an historical innovation. The manufacturing and the storage area for finished and semi-finished products have already reached 25,000 square metres. With approximately 125 specialised employees only in Castelgomberto, the intention of the company to keep and expand its production in Italy because its product is made in Italy, is clear.
Quality and Service
Quality and service: it’s the Made in Euro-Fer.
A customer service which makes a difference
Euro-Fer’s corporate philosophy has always revolved around improving customer service.
Thanks to the fact that more than 80% of its articles are manufactured by the parent company, Euro-Fer ensures reduced delivery times (maximum one week from receipt of the order) and manages to satisfy even “last minute requests”. The network of distributors is restocked every week and customer orders remain “open” until carriers depart.
But customer service is much more; it also means manufacturing tailored articles in a short time. The efficiency of the sales network counts on more than 1,000 distributors only that allow for a capillary service all over the national territory. Italian wrought iron is known by a specific name and that name is Euro-Fer.
The consulting service carried out by the sales points provides a precise support to the final consumer who can find here suggestions, advice, up-to-date informative material to enable him to choose the best articles amongst the thousands of products of this company.
The customer who buys Euro-Fer products has the certainty that high quality production standards guarantee that stakes, curls, handrails, panels and decorative articles are always the same, even if ordered in different moments, thereby ensuring homogeneity of the work which they are destined for. This prerogative, together with the wide range of products and their style are the distinctive features of the company from Castelgomberto, today known and appreciated all over the world. The excellence of the product has enabled Euro-Fer to acquire that market share that looks for quality and service at the right price.
The company in Castelgomberto has reached remarkable levels of efficiency with regards to the commercial relationships with the vast clientele also in terms of logistics. An automatic warehouse with a capacity of storing 10,000 pallets was implemented and made operational, with the possibility of being expanded to meet future developments.
Euro-Fer can restock its network of suppliers in the whole national territory every week, thereby optimising waiting times and guaranteeing precision and punctuality in dispatch and delivery. The presence of Euro-Fer is becoming more relevant also on foreign markets. Only a company like Euro-Fer with a highly-specialized production can successfully meet the needs of a foreign clientele with traditions – even if only architectonic – different from the Italian ones. Exclusive product lines have been studied and realized for each foreign country, on the basis of precise requests from the local distributors.
